One Minute Communication, 2004

 

‘One Minute Communication’, 2004, bespoke software, cabinet, aluminium balls, stepper motors, control board, computer, wires etc.

‘Communication’ is a conversation - manifested in the interaction between 2 abstract entities represented by 2 silver balls. In form it is a kinetic, computer-controlled sculpture.

The work was developed over a 2 year period. It was first exhibited at the Freud Museum in ‘The Royal Road to the Unconscious’, January 2004 and
subsequently in ‘DomestoCity’ at Cell Project Space, September 2004.
